Avatar Yoga School - YTTC School In Rishikesh

Avatar Yoga School creates a singular experience for participants in yoga teacher training. Our location is purposefully situated at one of the original yoga practice sites on the banks of the River Ganges in the Himalayan foothills with easy access to the heart of Rishikesh. As a traditional yoga school in India recognized by Yoga Alliance USA, our reputation gives you confidence in your choice to be with us. We preserve true traditions of Yoga and approach each of the thousands of participants with compassion. With each breath, posture, meditation and mantra, we guide the participant to a balanced mindful life along the path of profound self awareness.

Each individual is unique, we honor this while preserving ancient Yogic traditions. This manifests in the form of a nurturing space designed to facilitate learning, evolution and return to the true self for all our offerings, including the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, retreats and wellness experiences. Our online and residential offerings are designed with personal care and individual attention in mind. Experienced and compassionate instructors support each participant in every class, which is a unique opportunity for self discovery within a community of authentic traditional teachings and nature.
